About Ridgeline

We focus on efficient, detail-oriented service with the human touch a people business requires. We get back to every owner and tenant within one business day, even if the answer is ‘give us a few days to figure this out.’ Proactive maintenance prevents small issues from becoming costly ones. Jonathan Barr founded Ridgeline. He bought his first duplex in Los Angeles in 2010 and lived in one unit while renting the other. He sold that duplex and other LA properties through a 1031 exchange into his investment company, JB2 Investments. JB2 today owns 319 units across multifamily complexes ranging from 14 to 144 units.

Jonathan has also been involved in flipping over 400 homes in LA through The NELA Group, which gives him a real construction eye for value-add and rehab projects. Fifteen years operating in highly regulated rental markets like Los Angeles taught him what owners actually need from a manager. Ridgeline runs on those lessons.
