Ridgeline Property Management was not built in a boardroom. It was built out of frustration.

After years of owning rental properties and working with property managers who were slow to respond, missed details, let units sit vacant for too long, and treated properties like numbers, I decided to build something better.

My Story: Jonathon Barr

I started in 2010 with a duplex in Los Angeles. I lived in one unit and rented the other.

From there, I scaled. Through acquisitions and 1031 exchanges, I grew into owning and operating 319 units across multiple apartment complexes ranging from 14 to 144 units.

Along the way, I was involved in flipping more than 400 homes. That experience built a strong understanding of construction, cost control, and how to identify issues before they become expensive problems.

I have spent 17 years in real estate, including managing apartments in Los Angeles, one of the most regulated rental markets in the country. That experience shaped how Ridgeline operates today.
